Our Annual U-Pick Sunflower Festival
One of the few sunflower farms in Virginia with a full festival around the field: blooming rows against the mountains, photo props out among the flowers, and every one of the 25+ attractions covered by admission. Our 2026 Sunflower Festival was the fourth annual.

A Full Farm Day, Not Just a Sunflower Field
The flowers are the reason you come. The farm is why you stay all afternoon. That is what makes this sunflower fest different from a field with a cash box.
Hayrides
A scenic loop around the farm with the fields on one side and the ridge on the other.
Jump pillow and hay slide
The Pumpkin Jump Pillow and the 120ft hay slide run all festival weekend.
Cattle Drive Barrel Train
Little ones ride, parents wave. Plus round bale rollers and the corn bin.
Farm barnyard
Friendly animals to meet and feed. Leashed dogs are welcome on the farm too.

Sunflower Photo Sessions
Professional photographer, or just someone who wants the family picture in a field of gold? The Sunflower Photography Pass gets you field access for a private session.
Private sessions in the zinnia and wildflower fields are $20 an hour by reservation. Field access only, so farm rides and activities are during festival hours.
When the Sunflowers Bloom
Sunflowers are a crop, so the bloom moves with the weather. The festival runs early to mid September, and once the Fall Festival starts, the remaining field is included with a Fall Festival ticket while the flowers last. In 2026 the Sunflower Festival ran September 5 through 20.

The Event Barn
$250 for four hours with all-day admission for 20 guests, extra guests $5. Birthdays, showers and reunions with the fields as the backdrop.

How much are sunflowers?
$2 a stem, $10 for a mason jar, $20 for a bucket. Admission is $14 per person and covers every farm activity.
Can we still see the sunflowers during the Fall Festival?
Yes, while the flowers last. Once fall admission starts, the remaining sunflower field is included with your Fall Festival ticket, along with the pumpkin patch and corn maze.
Can we bring the dog?
Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome on the farm. Keep them clear of the animal barn and clean up after them.
Can we do a photo session in the field?
Yes. Private sessions in the zinnia and wildflower fields are $20 an hour by reservation. Photography Pass details.
What if it rains?
We decide open or closed each morning and post it on Facebook first. Tickets are non-refundable.
