Straight from the field
Five Acres of U-Pick Pumpkins
The patch is more than five acres, so there is always a good one left even on the last weekend of October. Carving pumpkins, pie pumpkins and the white and odd-shaped ones that look best on a porch step. Early in the season the sunflower field is still open for u-pick stems too.
Pick it off the vine
Walk the rows, find the one you want and cut it yourself. Wagons and strollers are welcome anywhere on the farm, so bring yours if you have one.
Weigh it at the barn
Pumpkins are priced by the pound at the barn on your way out, so you only pay for what you take home.

Pumpkin Pricing
By the pound
$0.59 per pound, weighed at the barn on your way out. You only pay for what you take home.
Fill a wagon
$50 for a full wagon load. The best deal if you are decorating a porch, a classroom or a church.
Admission is separate
$16 online or $18 at the gate gets you onto the farm and covers every activity. Kids 3 and under are free. Pumpkins are on top of that. Tickets and pricing.

More Than a Pumpkin Patch
Some pumpkin patches are a field and a cash box. This one is a full farm day, and none of it costs extra once you are through the gate.
Hay wagon ride

150ft mega slide

Barnyard animals
Farm animals to pet and feed. Feed cups are sold at the store.
Corn maze and 20 more
A five acre corn maze, the jump pillow, barrel train, corn pit, ten-plus photo ops, giant games and the rest of the 25+ activities. Two nights a season the farm stays open after dark for Glow Nights.

25 Minutes from Staunton, 35 from Harrisonburg
2513 Rockfish Road, Crimora, between Waynesboro and Weyers Cave. From I-81 take Exit 235 at Weyers Cave or Exit 227 at Verona and follow the signs. From Charlottesville, I-64 West over Afton Mountain to US-340 North. Parking is free. Drive times are approximate.

When to Come for Pumpkins
Pumpkins are a crop, so ripening depends on the weather and the growing season. Every activity runs regardless, but we cannot promise a particular pumpkin at a particular time. Follow us on Facebook for field updates before you drive out.
Our busiest weekends are October 10–11 and October 17–18. If you want the widest pick with the smallest crowd, come the last weekend of September or the first weekend of October, and come early in the day.
Pumpkins for Groups & Classrooms
School field trips
Every student takes home a mini pumpkin and every teacher gets a classroom pumpkin, on top of the hayride, the pumpkin life cycle lesson and 25+ activity stations. $12 per student, weekdays 9 to 2. Book a field trip.
Porches, churches and decorators
A $50 wagon load is the cheapest way to fill a porch, a sanctuary or a storefront. Need more than a wagon? Call 540-820-7451 before you come and we will set them aside.
Parties in the event barn
Rent the barn for four hours, $250 with admission for 20 guests, and send everyone into the patch to pick their own party favor. Book the barn.

Pumpkin Patch Questions
How much does it cost to pick pumpkins?
Pumpkins are $0.59 per pound or $50 for a full wagon, on top of $16 admission ($18 at the gate). Kids 3 and under get in free.
Can we bring our own wagon?
Yes. Wagons and strollers are welcome anywhere on the farm.
Can we bring the dog?
Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome. Keep them clear of the animal barn and clean up after them.
What if it rains?
We decide open or closed each morning and post it on Facebook first. Tickets are non-refundable and valid only for the 2026 Fall Festival.
Do we need tickets ahead of time?
Walk-ins are fine, but online is $2 cheaper and gets you through the gate faster. We take cash, card, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
When is the best time to come for pumpkins?
Any weekend from September 19 through November 1. The field is fullest early in the season, and the busiest weekends are October 10 to 11 and October 17 to 18, so come early those days or pick a quieter weekend.
What else is included with pumpkin picking?
Your admission covers all 25+ activities: the corn maze, hay wagon rides, the 150ft mega slide, the jump pillow, the barnyard and the giant games. Only the apple cannon and animal feed cups cost extra.
Do you have sunflowers too?
Early in the fall season the sunflower field is still open while the flowers last, included with your Fall Festival ticket.
