Beef, pork, lamb, chicken and eggs raised right here on our family farm in Crimora, Virginia. Our angus beef is grass fed and grain finished, naturally raised with no added hormones, no preservatives and no genetically altered feed. Buy individual cuts at the store, or order bulk beef by the whole, half or quarter.

If you live locally and want individual cuts of beef, or you just want to see the operation in person, stop by the store. No festival ticket needed to shop. It is open during festival hours, and if you want meat or eggs outside those times, give us a call at 540-820-7451.
We also carry a selection of items from local small businesses, and on festival weekends our vendors set up on the farm too.

The average carcass weight of an entire cow. After the beef is cut, wrapped and frozen, about 70% of that is table-ready meat, or closer to 60% if you order a lot of boneless cuts.

Registered Berkshire pork
Berkshire is the heritage breed chefs ask for: darker, better marbled meat that does not dry out. Chops, roasts, sausage and bacon, depending on what has come back from the processor.
Lamb from our flock
Raised on our own pasture alongside the cattle. Ask about whole and half lamb as well as individual cuts.
Pasture-raised chicken & eggs
Birds raised on grass, and eggs from our own hens. Eggs sell out fast on festival weekends, so call ahead if you want a few dozen.

Ordering Bulk Beef
Pick your share
Whole, half or quarter. A quarter fills a normal freezer drawer, a half needs a chest freezer.
Choose your cuts
Tell the processor how you want it cut, wrapped and frozen: steak thickness, roast sizes, how much ground.
Pick it up
Call 540-820-7451 to arrange pickup at the farm, festival weekend or not.

When is the farm store open?
During festival hours, Saturdays and Sundays 10am to 6pm in season. To buy meat or eggs outside those times, call 540-820-7451.
Do I need farm admission to shop?
No. Locals are welcome to stop by the store without a festival ticket. Come during festival hours, or call 540-820-7451 and we will meet you there.
How is your beef raised?
Our angus beef is grass fed and grain finished, naturally raised with no added hormones, no preservatives and no genetically altered feed.
How much meat comes from a quarter beef?
An average carcass is 550 to 600 pounds. After cutting, wrapping and freezing, about 70% is table ready, so a quarter is roughly 95 to 105 pounds. Order a lot of boneless cuts and that drops closer to 60%.
What does bulk beef cost in total?
